I wanted to put a blog post together to thank some of the people who have supported me, some unknowingly, in my TPT journey this year. I remember back in 2018, I posted a battleships game freebie – thinking it wouldn’t amount to anything. For a long time I suffered from Imposters Syndrome. I constantly worried that people would be critical and that no-one would want to see what I do.
If you’re just starting TPT, or you’re having one of those days where you are thinking it isn’t for you? Just keep going. Sometimes downing tools, stepping away and focusing is all that’s needed. Personally, I like to look up villas for our next big trip and make them the goal.
Today I have:
– 142 products in my store
– Sold 2035 products with over 60,000 views
– have had over 580 people take the time to feedback and comment on their purchases (Thank you!)
– 795 people following my store (Come on 800 by the end of the year – haha)
– A mailing list with thousands of people all wanting to know about what I do
– Over 12,400 followers @MrMsInstaStuff on instagram – sharing their knowledge and creative ideas
The people on the TPT Forums have been amazing, without them, I don’t think this would have been possible. There has been days where I have considered giving it up and the people on here just bring me right back to my centre. Some of these people don’t even know that they have had a difference. They are:
The Treasured Schoolhouse, CreativeCOTA LLC, June Shanahan Dog-On-It Designs, Mrs H’s Speech Therapy Room, SpecEd Specialties, FLE avec MmeD, Lessons by Molly and many more…
I have so many plans for this year;
– Lots more blogging 🙂
– Regular social media usage and embrace the fear that is Pinterest as much as I can
– I will be updating every product with its own video by 2022 and refining the bio’s to be the best they can be
I want to wish you, your family and your stores the best start to 2021. I hope that you will come along and follow me on this crazy journey.
